At KTH Innovation, leading researchers, creative students, startup founders, industry professionals, investors, and enablers come together with a shared purpose: to solve problems using new technology.

With support from KTH Innovation, new ideas and advanced research get the best possible conditions to succeed. Since 2007, we have built world-class innovation support – open to all students and researchers at KTH. We welcome new ideas all year round.

Here, you can get support to develop your idea all the way to launch, explore how your research could create impact, participate in inspiring events, join a startup team, or take part in one of our programs.

There are also opportunities for those who want to contribute – for example as an investor, mentor, venture builder, or industry partner.

We combine creativity with structure and are particularly skilled at supporting ideas based on advanced, research-driven technology – so-called deep tech.

  • In 2024, 25 % of Sweden's most innovative and promising tech companies ( NyTeknik ), and 30 % of current research with potential to create value (IVA)  came from KTH. 
  • Over 85% of the teams we support want to contribute to sustainable development.
  • We have helped start over 450 companies that together have raised over 8 billion Swedish crowns.
  • We work actively for increased equality within the innovation system. Around 40 % of the teams we support have at least one female founder.
