KTH Energy Platform the Best Poster Award 2015
Three best and most communicative PhD posters were selected by the audience and specially invited jury at the Energy Dialogue 2015 on 26 November. The winners were awarded with KTH Energy Platform sponsored prizes.
In total 38 posters were submitted by KTH PhD students for the Best Poster competition taking place at the Energy Dialogue on 26 November. The winners were selected by the conference participants and a jury consisted of KTH Professors and specially invited guests.
Ranking of the posters was based on two criteria: communication qualities and orientation for the broad audience.
The 1st prize of 10 000 SEK conference grant from the Energy Platform was awarded to:
“Towards a new generation of bio-based packaging materials”
by Verónica López Durán at Fibre and Polymer Technology
"A poster that really catches the eye and in which simplicity in information has been taken courageously far without losing the message".
The first 2nd prize, corresponding to 5 000 SEK of the conference grant, sponsored by Energy Platform went to:
“New materials for fuel cells in vehicle applications”
by Annika Carlsson and Björn Eriksson at Chemical Engineering and Technology
"A poster with clear graphics and a logical lay-out including a general research question and a description of what is actually investigated”.
The second 2nd prize of 5 000 SEK conference grant went to:
"Innovative chassis concept can make future vehicles more sustainable and energy efficient"

"A poster that catches the eye and that simply describes what the consequences will be when applying innovative chassis design”
