The Division of Construction and Facilities Management performs research and education in management and organization of the entire construction and facilities management process. Examples of research areas are construction project management, collaboration, communication, information management, innovation, industrial networks, procurement and construction logistics.

The research engages in management and organization of the entire construction and facilities management process, from idea through planning, design, production and facilities management. We conduct applied research, often in collaboration with researchers from other universities and with representatives from industry and society. The research has a clear focus on the client's perspective and a sustainable and innovative built environment.

The division is also responsible for the specialization Civil Engineering and Construction Project Management within the Degree Programme in Civil Engineering and Urban Management. By combining architecture, technology, economics, organization and leadership, the students are prepared to be able to organize and manage construction projects. The education has a clear profile towards the early stages and the developer perspective.
