The library highlights Week17 – The National Library Week for Sustainable Change and Development
During Week17 (April 22–26), we will highlight the UN’s Global Goals with a book exhibition and a seed library where you can exchange seeds with others.

Week17 (a reference to both week 17 and the 17 Global Sustainable Development Goals) is an international theme week for libraries, focusing on the UN’s Global Goals. The event was first launched by the Danish Library Association but has since spread to other countries. At KTH Library, we will host several activities and exhibitions during week 17, as well as before and after.
Books on Sustainable Research 📖
Want to learn more about climate, the environment, and social sustainability? We have gathered books that explore the Global Goals from different perspectives. Each book will include a bookmark indicating which goal it primarily advocates or examines.
You can also explore literature in our digital themed collection Week17 – Theme Week on UN’s 17 Global Goals, where we showcase selected resources, both physical and digital.
Seed Library – Swap, Sow, and Let It Grow! 🌱
Have extra seeds? Drop them off with us and take home new varieties! The seed library makes it easy to exchange seeds while contributing to biodiversity. We will also show you how to fold your own seed packets – both practical and sustainable.
The seed library and book exhibition will be on display 9 April – 2 May.

Stop by and get inspired – small changes can make a big difference! 💚♻️
