About CTR

The Centre for Traffic Research (CTR) was founded in 1995 by the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI). In 2004 Linköping University (Communication and Transport Systems at the Department of Science and Technology) (LiU) joined as equal partner.
The CTR administration is located at the School for Architecture and the Built Environment, at KTH in Stockholm.

Since 2012 Wilco Burghout is the new head of CTR. Ingmar Andreasson who headed CTR from 1996 - 2011, advises on CTR policy.
