Dardel upgrade: planned system downtime 20-24 May
Final work on upgrading software management system to HPCM

Dardel will soon be upgraded to have a new software management system called HPCM. The upgraded system will have a newer version of the Cray programming environment (cpe/23.12) as well as the Cray operating system running on the Dardel compute nodes. As this is a major upgrade, most applications running on several nodes must be recompiled or reconfigured. The final steps of this upgrade will take place in week 21 (20 – 24 May 2024), when the system will be unavailable for the entire week.
