Division of Applied Physical Chemistry
The Division of Applied Physical Chemistry is the largest division in the Department of Chemistry with 13 faculty members and senior researchers. Research within the division encompasses the grand challenges in analytical, inorganic, nuclear, and physical chemistry. Fundamental science plays an important role in our division and covers everything from quantum chemistry, spectroscopy and spectrometry, to materials and interfaces. Along with their diverse research activities, the division's faculty are extensively involved in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
