George Thompson Prize

The George Thompson Prize recognises the lifetime contribution of Professor George Thompson to aluminium surface science and technology and is awarded to the presentation of highest scientific and educational standards by a student presenter. 

Two prizes, recognizing outstanding research and communication skills, will be awarded during the ASST 2023.
