Mandatory school introductions

It's finally time to begin your studies! As a student at KTH, you belong to one of five schools. At the beginning of the semester all schools have mandatory introductions that you need to attend. At the introduction you will meet your academic coordinators that will be your main contacts during your studies.

The mandatory school introductions for most master's programmes are on 21 or 22 August, while most bachelor's programmes have mandatory roll-calls on 12 August. However, some programmes may have deviating meeting dates. Make sure to check when your specific programme has its mandatory school introduction.

Please note that it is important that you attend the meeting from the start and take part in the entire meeting. At the introduction, you will get a chance to meet your academic coordinator, your fellow students and receive practical information to help you get settled as a KTH student. You will learn about support and services, how to register for courses and get general information about studies at KTH.

Some schools will also have additional programme information sessions. Some of these sessions are listed in the programme pages below, while other programmes may contact and invite you to such meetings later on.
