Mathias Uhlen

Mathias Uhlén is professor in Microbiology at KTH. His research is focused on protein science, antibody engineering and molecular medicine and has resulted in more than 550 publications with an h-index of 97 (Google Scholar) and 67 patent applications. The research range from basic research in human and microbial biology to more applied research, including clinical applications in many areas of medicine. Since 2003, he has led an international effort to systematically map the human proteome with antibodies and to create an open source knowledge-based resource called the Human Protein Atlas  (www.proteinatlas.org).
