Next Generation Bioplastic Production

Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) are building block bioplastics that can be microbiologically produced from various carbon sources. The aim of this project is to develop efficient PHA production from wastewater that are rich in volatile fatty acids using pure and mixed microbial consortia.
