The course What is Life? The Future of Biology, 2 credits, is mandatory at Karolinska Institutet (KI).
Elective courses or any other suitable course given in Stockholm can be taken, if first approved by the Programme Director.
Master thesis, 30 credits, must be taken, select one of these:

- Degree Project in Biotechnology, Second Cycle, 30 credits,
- Degree Project in Computer Science, Second Cycle, 30 credits.
