After the course, the participant should be able to
- solve, using FEM, an advanced problem in solid mechanics within the framework of a project work.
- present, within the framework of a project work, the solution to a advanced problem in solid mechanics summarized in a written report.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The course is only open for students who:
1) follow the Solid Mechanics track in Enginering Mechanics master program and
2) will reach the credit requirement (120-122hp) with this course together with other planned courses in the 2nd year of the master program.
The course is not selectable at antagning.se. The course selection is made with the student counselor for Engineering mechanics program at the SCI student office after approval by track responsible or direcotr of undergraduate studies in solid mechanics.
