The course provides lectures, exercises with criticism, croquis drawing and literature studies that cultivate interest and understanding of industrial design, and which may provide insight into the artistic and intuitive thought and its application in engineering. Practical design data follow the theoretical studierna.Övningarna has centered on understanding the form and the specific skills associated with that area. This means that the exercises may be different from past experiences of studies at KTH.

Course contents
Intended learning outcomes
The course aims to provide good orientation and understanding of the field of industrial design, with the intention to facilitate engineer's future cooperation with designers and procurement of design services. The course also aims to demonstrate and make available to the designer's working methods and resources.

- PRO1 - Project, 3.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
Attendece minimum 3/4 OF the schedueld hours and written exercises.
The examination is only once a year.
