Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

The various components of the logistics process will be introduced and analyzed and in addition their importance to the competitive edge of the company.

Intended learning outcomes

Good awareness of the logistics' roll and subtstance in companies and the society. In a structured way be able to identify and describe and handle aspects on warehousing, inbound logistics, and outbound distribution, within logistics effectiveness.

General requirements i.e. completed upper secondary education including documented proficiency in Swedish and English (for courses given in Swedish).

  • PRO1 - Project, 3.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
  • TEN1 - Examination, 4.5 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
