FAI3104 Participation, Analysis and Evaluation of Licentiate Seminars and Dissertations 4.0 credits

The course consists of the participants attending licentiate seminars and dissertations. The course participants must attend at least five occasions, which should include both types of public examinations.

Furthermore, for each of the occasions the participants have to make a written analysis and evaluation, and during a seminar follow up the process, exchanges of views and discussions between the reviewer/opponent and the respondent.

The comprehensive objective of the course is for the participants to acquire knowledge and skills that facilitate the preparations for the public examination/opposition at the licentiate seminar and dissertation.

Initiated post graduate studies in the subjects of Real Estate and Construction Management or Business

Studies.

The literature will be decided and announced at least four weeks before course start.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

• INL1 - Home work, 2.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
• SEM1 - Seminars, 2.0 credits, grading scale: P, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

Requirements for final grade: Approved attendance, written analysis and seminar follow up on at least five occasions.
