CK202V Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy in Chemistry 2.5 credits

A practice oriented course to develop knowledge and understanding of the application of vibrational spectroscopy to elucidate structures and compositions in mixtures. The course contains 4 lectures and covers the basic principles of IR and Raman spectroscopy, general approaches on how to interpret and extract information from spectra, and also an overview of practical applications. Three tutorials will supplement the lectures and a significant amount of time will be spent on solving problems and answering questions.
