RPL- Handover Experimentation 2023
The Division of Robotics, Perception and Learning calls for participants for human handover experiments. The aim of the experiment is to study human-human handovers and take inspiration from them for robot-human handovers.
The participants will be taking part in the experiment as a pair. The task is to pick-up, transfer and receive (handover) a special object. The experiment takes place in a Motion Capture (MOCAP) room where the participants will be asked to wear a MOCAP torso suit. The torso suit is simply like a stretchable full-arm T-shirt and we have different sizes available: S,M,L.
The total weight of the object to be transferred varies from 1 to 2 kg. So, it is important that the participant does not have any wrist or similar injury that inhibits the handover.
Participants of 18+ ages are invited, both from and outside KTH.
Each participant will be rewarded with a 100kr gift-card (from getgifted.com). The experiment lasts for approximately 75 minutes, although the actual experiment time will be shorter because of the initial setup time.
The experiments will take place at 4th floor, Lindstedtsvägen 24, EECS, KTH.
