Student discount card

All students registered at a Swedish university studying at least 75% of full time in one semester receive a student discount card. The student card gives you certain discounts for example at the local transportation card in Stockholm (SL-card).

To receive your student discount card (digitally from autumn 2018), there are a few steps you need to take upon arrival, when you have your KTH-account:

• You need to be admitted and registered for courses
• You need to register your address at your KTH-pages

You will then receive an e-mail from Mecenat, the company in charge, with information on how to create your account and get the card on your smartphone.

Please note that the access card (a white card that gives you access to the university buildings) and the student discount card are two different cards.
