Transfer credits
When you are done with your degree project and are ready to graduate you can apply for your diploma online in your Personal menu. In order for you to apply online, we need to transfer the credits from your home university so that you can reach 300 credits. We will transfer 180 at bachelor’s level and 30 credits at master’s level. If you did not include a complete transcript covering this, including a bachelor certificate in your application, you need to ask your coordinator to send us this documentation.

KTH Diploma
You apply for your diploma online, under your Personal Menu.
You choose “Civilingenjör” 300 credits, degree programme in either Engineering Physics or Vehicle Engineering (depending on which programme you are admitted to).

Note! The specialisation within the program is not mentioned in the diploma. Swedish language courses are not included in the diploma. The knowledge in Swedish is necessary since the degree awarded is a Swedish professional degree. The Swedish language courses will, however, appear in your offical transcripts.

Your diploma will be e-mailed to you within some weeks (approximately 8 weeks), to the address you’ve provided in your degree application. For more information, please contact the Degree Administration Office directly, examen@kth.se. 

Graduation Ceremony
The KTH graduation ceremony is held twice in May and twice in December for newly graduated architects, masters of science in engineering and master's degree holders from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology.
