Examination
There are three parts of the examination.
1. Hand-in-problems. There will be three sets of problems that you should solve. They will test your skill at using the methods learned in class. Due dates: See under "Schedule and content".
Code of conduct (Hederskodex). It is assumed that:
-you shall solve the problems on your own (or in cooperation with one or two fellow students). If you cooperate with someone you must mention that persons name for each problem.
-you must not use other resources
-if you in spite of this are using something you have gotten from somewhere else for some reason (a friend, a book, the internet etc.) you must give a reference to the source.
Cheating will be reported.
2. Student presentation. There will be one review assignment where students in groups are asked to read a research paper and present to their fellow students. It is mandatory to do this presentation. More information in class. Presentations on Dec 4. Mandatory to be present.
3. Exam. The course will end with a written exam. Date January 11. A second chance on March 15.
This is a document explaining what to expect from the exam.
Your grade on the course will be a weighted average of your results on the three parts above:
