Facilities and addresses
- Lectures and some tutorials are given in ‘KTH lecture rooms’.
- Laboratory exercises and some tutorials are given in the Mechatronics and Wenström Labs.
- The labs are located in the ‘Machine Design’ building, Brinellvägen 83, 3rd floor, room A332.
- All course participants are given access to this lab upon registration.
- Refer to the schedule for latest updates on session locations.
Examination Conditions
Examination in this course consists of:
- PRO1 - Project, 3.0 credits, grade scale: P, F
- PRO2 - Project, 3.0 credits, grade scale: P, F
- TEN1 - Written exam, 3.0 credits, grade scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
PRO1 - Project, 3.0 credits, grade scale: P, F
A pass (P) grade is awarded when each of the following activities is satisfactorily performed:
- Kick-off project (scheduled under Period 3)
- Active participation in the kick-off development project.
- A set of laboratory exercises, group work and tutorials (scheduled under Period 3)
- In-depth research (scheduled under Period 4)
- Active participation in the group work.
- satisfactory individual contribution to the group report.
PRO2 - Project, 3.0 credits, grade scale: P, F
A pass (P) grade is awarded upon:
- Active participation in the group development project of Period 4
- satisfactory individual contribution to the group project reporting.
These activities are scheduled to be performed under Period 4.
TEN1 - Written exam, 3.0 credits, grade scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
The exam will be held on the course content of Period 3.
Grading
The final course grade consists of:
- The exam results from TEN1 - 50%
- The group project report from PRO2 - 40%
- The in-depth research report from PRO1 - 10%
