In this class we will discuss some of the latest trends in optical networking research. More specifically the two works that will be presented are:
- Leveraging FTTx infrastructure for green mobile backhaul: challenges and opportunities
- Enhancing Restoration Performance Using Service Relocation in PCE-based Resilient Optical Clouds
