Welcome to Wireless Networks 2017
Wireless networks are everywhere - mobile phone systems, wireless LANs, digital terrestrial televisions, are a few examples of the widely spread systems in everyday life. These networks involve the latest technologies. They should operate extremely reliable and they have to be easy and affordable to use. At the same time these networks represent huge investments from those deploying them.
This course provides in-depth knowledge within the area of wireless communications networks. Special emphasis is put on wireless infrastructure deployment, system design, resource management, and the performance analysis of systems for mobile telephony, data, and multimedia communications.
During this year's course, the course material will be substantially modernized, shifting the focus of the course to modern systems for mobile broadband data access.
