Seting up VirtualBox

Download VirtualBox https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads (Links to an external site.)

Download ubuntu https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop (Links to an external site.)

Install ubuntu in virtualbox:
* Add:
Recommended requirements for ubuntu (less might be enough, like 2 GB memory):

* 2 GHz dual core processor or better
* 4 GB system memory
* 25 GB of free hard drive space
(iIf 64-bit is missing as an option in VirtualBox, make sure Virtual Technology is enabled in bios). On a Windows machine you also need to turn off Hyper-V.

* Settings
Storage -> Controller IDE -> Empty -> disk image -> choose virtual optical disk file…

Locate ubuntu*.iso

* Start and follow the ubuntu installation.
* Open termin
sudo apt-get install build-essential
