Find a Thesis Project
For KTH registered students: There are several ways how to find a master thesis project in the area of communication theory:
- Check the currently advertised master thesis projects in communication theory. If you are interested in a project, then contact the corresponding contact person. Note that this list contains projects which were added by the members of the lab. It might be that some projects are outdated.
- Have a look at the research currently pursued at the lab for instance by looking at recently published papers (recommended to consider only the last two years). Contact the corresponding authors affiliated with the lab and ask if they could define a master thesis project problem in this area.
- Another option would be to look at past master thesis projects supervised by lab members and contact the supervisor or examiner and ask if they can offer something similar.
- Likewise, if you know an examiner from a course and would like to pursue a thesis under his guidance or you would generally like to do a thesis in communication theory, but you did not find something explicit interesting above, then please contact an examiner or the master thesis coordinator directly. State your related interests, background, and strengths so that we could try to find or define a suitable master thesis project.
- Lastly, if you find an externally offered master thesis project in the are of communication theory and you are looking for a KTH supervisor or examiner, then please contact an examiner or the master thesis coordinator who then has to check if the proposed problem satisfies the requirements. To this end, please provide sufficient information about the host, external supervisor, and problem statement.
Please ensure that you are eligable to do a master thesis project in the area of communication theory. If you are uncertain, then please contact your program coordintor. Otherwise, you can always contact the master thesis coordinator for further help.
For non-KTH students: We do not offer master thesis projects for students who are not registered at KTH.
