Plats: Q2

Aktivitet: Seminarium

Studentgrupper: TIKTM_1, TIKTM_2, TIVNM_DMTE_1, TIVNM_DMTE_2, TIVNM_ITAK_2, TTLSM_1, TTLSM_2

Info: The upcoming fifth-generation (5G) wireless systems are planned to be significantly faster, more cost- and energy-efficient, support more devices and data volumes than the current 4G mobile networks. A communication system will therefore be subject to challenging requirements before getting a "5G" label, and the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology is seen as one of the key instruments for fulfilling such requirements. In this talk, I will review the practically relevant MIMO techniques that are considered for current and future mobile networks.
