Projects

During the course there will be two projects, where the student will solve small-scale application-oriented problems and will report his/her findings. The problems are related to the material taught during the course. To solve the problems you will need to use Matlab (recommended) or another mathematical software package. The main goals of the projects are to train problem-solving skills and to learn how to properly report one's results. Detailed instructions will be given during the course. Note that both projects are mandatory, i.e., it is necessary to complete them succesfully in order to be able to pass the course.
