Examination

Details on the exam in December 2011 under Previous Exams.

There are two moments in the course:

  • homework and small project
  • written exam

You have to pass both of these moments to pass the course. You are graded based on your written exam. Grades A-F.

Written exam

There is a written exam at the end of the course. The exam consists of five problems of ten points each. Allowed aids is the Beta mathematical handbook and calculator. The queuing-theory formula sheet, Erlang tablesand Laplace transforms will be provided with the exam if necessary.

The exam is on Thursday, 15th of December, 14:00-19:00, in rooms Q21, Q26. Check "Schema" for possible changes.

Registration is mandatory for taking the exam and must be made two weeks before the exam date.

For those who do not pass the exam, there will be a make-up exam in June. The ones who do not pass the moment of home assignment and small project, will get additional problems to solve.

Possibility for complementing the exam: if you missed the pass level with 2 (out of 50) points, you get grade Fx and have the opportunity to complement your exam to E. Contact the lecturer.
