An Accelerometer Instrument
William Ängeby & Carl Wersäll
This certain project is about creating an instrument using four accelerometers and the software Pure Data. An instrument was created where the four accelerometers triggers different samples and/or control certain parameters of a synth created in Pure Data. The result is a working instrument which with a bit more tweaking and time spent on it together with some practicing could make a somewhat useful tool for a musician.
Painting with Music
Christoffer Carlsson and Kristian Orellana
In this paper a music visualization software developed in Processing called Painting with Music is presented. Using a smartphone connected to the computer via Open Sound Control, a user is able to paint onto the computer screen wirelessly. Variables connected to the cursor such as size and color is directly affected by the sound input to the program thus making it possible to paint and visualize music simultaneously.
