Dear Lisa,

I hope you are fine.

Last week I had my first day in the new bakery called „Fabrique“ in Södermalm. It was a really good day. I started to work at 1pm. Before I entered the bakery shop, I could already watch the bakers in the bakery from outside. They were producing breads, rolls, cakes and sweets. Then I entered the selling room that is connected with the bakery. The smell of cinnamon, freshly baked bread and freshly brewed coffee filled that place.

On the left side you can see some tables, a long bench and some chairs for the customers and on the right side is a long sales cabinet. The walls of the room are tiled with white tiles and big pendant uplighters hang from the ceiling. It looks really industrial.

My first work was to refill the cabinets with new baked products. I put it from the bakery to the front and made some jokes with the bakers. The customers have the chance to observe what we are doing, because it is an open space room. The big windows have a directly connection to the outside. So I can see what is going up on the streets and the big windows bring much light into the room.

Mostly I like the smell of the products and the bakery`s design that makes my work as a saleswoman wonderful.
