Migraine Alleviation
Background: Migraine affects about 10% of the population around the world, of whom ~30% have symptoms of aura at the very beginning of a migraine attack. Currently, there is no effective treatment and a migraine attack may just disappear after 4-72 hours of headache. Hypothesis: Mechanical stimulation modulates electrophysiological -> mechanical stimulation can modulate electrophysiological disturbance during migraine aura stage, thus alleviating a migraine attack or decrease the intensity of the headache of migraine.
