Joshitha is a PhD candidate at the KTH Division of Transportation Planning specializing in Public Transport Systems. Her research focuses on building the long-term resilience of public transport systems from a socio-ecological perspective. She aims to assess the adaptability, flexibility, and other key resilience metrics within existing systems to better prepare them for emerging mobility trends.
Joshitha completed her B. Tech in Civil Engineering at IIT Bombay, (2022) and earned a dual master’s degree in Sustainable Urban Mobility from KTH (2023) and UPC Barcelona (2024). During her master’s, she conducted her thesis and internship at CARNET, Barcelona, working on the Horizon EU project METROPOLIS, where she later worked as a Project Manager before starting her PhD at KTH.
