About me

My research will focus on utilizing reclaimed water for non-potable applications in Sweden, aiming to integrate these systems into industrial, agricultural, and eventually domestic uses. I am planning to address the technical, regulatory, and societal challenges of water reuse, contributing to sustainable solutions for water and energy management.

A key part of my work will involve exploring how existing wastewater infrastructure can be adapted to meet future demands for reclaimed water and green hydrogen (H₂) production. By leveraging advanced electrochemical technologies, I will analyze their potential to improve water quality and produce sustainable energy, while addressing economic and technological challenges.

I received my master’s degree in Water Science and Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. For my master’s thesis, I conducted a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and modeling study of integrated water-waste-energy systems for future urban settlements in Latin America. My research focused on evaluating the environmental impacts and sustainability of systems incorporating source separation and advanced treatment technologies, using process-based mass and energy balance modeling and LCA to compare current systems with innovative alternatives.
