Supriya Mini Soman

I am a PhD candidate in the Heat and Power Technology division underaimed the Energy Technology department. My research focuses on digital twins for smart grid connected buildings aimed at improving the building energy performance and management, increase grid flexibility and renewable energy exploitation.

Background

I have a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, India. I completed my dual Master's in Sustainable Energy Systems from KTH Royal Insitiute of Technology and Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona under EIT InnoEnergy. My master thesis focused on sustainable datacenter cooling using solar powered absorption chillers in collaboration with the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), Luleå.
