Gauri Salunkhe

I am highly motivated to fulfill my passion of implementing long term community-centric solutions for sustainable development.
I am currently pursuing my Master's in Sustainable Technology at KTH to work towards this goal by gaining knowledge and experience in various areas like circular economy, political ecology, value systems for sustainability, analysing environmental systems for sustainable performance, system innovation, ecological economics, etc.

I have diverse experiences working in both academic research and industry. My academic experience has been in projects based in Colombia and Fiji that use co-creation and participatory action with local communities as a central research methodology. The goals of these projects consider socio-economic and ecological perspectives for assessing and creating sustainable solutions. Industry experience includes implementation of circular manufacturing solutions, process & project engineering, and lean manufacturing, among others. I also have experience working in both start-ups and large multinational corporations, and in very international environments. I am able to bring together the best working cultures from the different environments.
