About me
I was awarded a PhD in Physics from Uppsala university. I am expert in atomistic modeling and first principle methods. I have worked on a wide variety of materials and phenomena from non-collinear magnetism in transition metals and rare-earth systems to complex alloys and glasses for batteries.
Currently, I am focused on energy materials in particular; glassy materials for electrolytes used in solid-state Li-ion and Na-ion batteries. My research aims to understand mechanisms of ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability in glassy electrolytes in order to develop the solid-state Na-ion battery so it becomes the next generation battery that can contribute to the realization of a sustainable energy system for all. My research contributes to achieve sustainable development goals 7 and 13.
