Om mig
My background is in fashion design and human-computer interaction. My previous work explored digital fabrication for fashion, and I exhibited my work at several Irish fashion events including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cork, the European Technology Summit Gala showcasing 3D Printing in Fashion, and the Irish Fashion Innovation Awards. I received my Master in Interaction and Experience Design (formally Interactive Media) at the University of Limerick, where I completed my thesis in somaesthetic ideation tools.
My current research examines the relationships between ethics and aesthetics as they unfold in interaction design practice, specifically the design of intelligent and autonomous systems.
My other interests include the intersection of fashion and HCI, using fashion methods for research through design, how wearable technologies shape the body, and machine learning as a digital material.
My current PhD is part of the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program – Humanities and Society.
