Om mig

Originally from China, I studied mathematics (BSc, 2009) at South China University of Technology, China, and Optimization and System Theory (MSc, 2013) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. After that, I joined the Division of Traffic and Logistic as a research engineer, where I obtained my Licentiate (pre-doctoral) degree in Intelligent Transport System. Then, from June 2016 to April 2021, I worked as a Ph.D. candidate in the Section of Air Transport and Operations at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, and obtained my Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering. During my Ph.D., I participated in an EU Horizon-2020 project, AIRMES (http://www.airmes-project.eu/), and developed a software prototype to help airlines optimize the aircraft maintenance check schedules and corresponding task allocation.

I am currently a Data Scientist at CIRO+ B.V., a healthcare and treatment center in the Netherlands, applying machine learning on diagnosis and treatment for patients with Asthma, COPD, and sleep-related breathing disorders. I am also working as a researcher in the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Maastricht University Medical Center.
