About me
I hold a PhD and a docent-title in gender, organization, and leadership. Since January 2025, I am the Director of InspireLab, a research centre focusing on technological development and innovation that improves gender equality in society. A gender-equal society is a goal in its' own right, while also being a means to a more democratic, innovative, and sustainable society. I earned my PhD in Business Administration (Organization and Leadership) from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2001 and I became a Docent (somtimes translated to Associate Professor) at KTH in 2011. For over 12 years (2011-2024), I worked outside academia in various senior roles in HR and sustainability, at large international companies such as Volvo Group, Skanska, and Essity. In these companies I developed global diversity and inclusion strategies, roadmaps and initiatives. My global responsibilities also included measuring and following up on employee engagement (Essity), leading strategic work on social sustainability (Skanska), and leading work on reinforcing a values-driven culture (Skanska). I have experience in executive board work from Swedish consulting companies in the IT and construction sectors, as well as government investigations (SOU:s) and delegations."
