BOILING HEAT TRANSFER AND PRESSURE DROP IN SINGLE RECTANGULAR MICROCHANNELS

One of the goals of this research is to investigate the two-phase flow characteristics of the refrigerant changing phase in a high aspect ratio rectangular vertically placed microchannel. The hydraulic diameters of the channels are in the range of 0,2 to 0,7 mm. The experimental data are collected for the refrigerant R134a for varying mass and heat fluxes . Visualisation of boiling in small channels is a part of the present research along with the usual measuring techniques.
