About me
Mohammad Osaid received a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. In his thesis, he worked on the computational modeling of electro-kinetichally driven perfusion bio-reactor, in collaboration with South Dakota State University, USA. He did MS in the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, where he developed a microfluidic platform for antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
Currently, he is PhD candidate in Micro and Nanosystems, EECS at KTH Royal Institue of Technology. The focus of his research is to separate bacteria from whole blood for rapid sepsis diagnosis. He is supervised by Prof. Wouter van der Wijngaart and Prof. Johan Elf.
