Nicola De Carli

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Division of Decision and Control Systems at the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, working with Prof. Dimos Dimarogonas.

Previously, from April 2024 to January 2025, I have been a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Rainbow team at IRISA-CNRS, working with Dr. Paolo Robuffo Giordano and Dr. Marco Tognon.

I received my Ph.D. degree in Automation, Production and Robotics from Université de Rennes, France with a thesis entitled "Active Perception and Localization for Multi-Robot Systems". I carried out my Ph.D. from January 2021 to April 2024 at IRISA-CNRS, under the supervision of Dr. Paolo Robuffo Giordano and Prof. Paolo Salaris. In 2023, I have been a visiting student in Centro Piaggio at University of Pisa, Italy.

My main research interests are in control of multi-robot systems, aerial robotics, active perception and localization.
