About me
I am a PhD student in Center for Mechanics and Material Design (MMD) and interested in material-property relationship. My PhD project is a colaboratioan between KTH, Scania, and SSAB and it aims to investigate the fatigue properties of two newly developed advanced high strength steel and compare them with the conventional material that is now in use, for possible replacement in chassis for heavy duty truck.
My main focus is on quantifying fatigue properties of high strength steel and relate them to the static properties and complex microstructures of the materials, obtaining a good scientific understanding of the coupling between microstructure, static mechanical properties, fatigue crack initiation and fatigue crack propagation.
