Muriel Beser Hugosson

Professor Muriel Beser Hugosson theoretical research has focused on developing transport modelling tools that can be used for evaluating transport policies. A specific interest has been the quality assurance of the forecasting process, and she has acquired a thorough understanding of the relation between quality of data, modelling principles and the reliability of the result. All her research has been inspired by real-world problems, working in close collaboration with government and other practitioners. Here main interests lie within transport demand modelling, quality assurance, data acquisition, sustainable development, car fleet and car ownership modelling, renewable fuels and appraisal methods.

Since 2016 Muriel Beser Hugosson is the Dean/Head of school of the School of Architecture and the Built Environment.
