About me
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher working on rail freight operations. I got my PhD in Transport Science, specializing in Transport Systems, from KTH in 2023. My PhD research focused on applying predictive analytics to freight train delays. My background is in Railway Transportation Engineering - MSc in 2015 and BSc in 2013 - from the School of Railway Engineering at IUST. I also have some years of experience as a Railway Engineer and Rail Transport Consultant in the railway industry before my PhD.
My research interests are not limited to but focused on applied predictive analytics for railway operations, hybrid modeling, rail freight transport, and logistics.
