About me
Mina is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Asst.Prof.Niclas Roxhed at the Department of Micro and Nanosystems, School of Electrical Engineering, KTH.Her research involves developing novel fabrication techniques for 3D micro- and nanodevices as well as developing flexible and stretchable biointerfacing medical patch for wearable bio-electronics.

Flexible and stretchable microneedle patch
In recent decades, wearable and flexible sensor devices for bio monitoring have gained significant attentions. Online and long term monitoring of the bio signals can help in early diagnosis of disease.
Our approach is to fabricate microneedle patches that combine a soft and flexible polymer base substrate with mechanically strong and sharp stainless steel microneedles
Currently there are no stretchable and flexible microneedle based devices for bio monitoring that are available in the market. Therefore, the unobtrusive flexible and stretchable microneedle patches could facilitate various emerging applications in the area of wearable electronics, including transdermal drug delivery, real-time health and fitness monitoring, diagnostics, and bioelectric therapies.
