Mikael Andersson

My PhD research address the existing discourse on sustainable development and the materialisation of it in new neighbourhoods in marginalised areas. In my research I follow and actively participate in the planning process of Jakobsdalen, a new sustainable neighbourhood in Borlänge, to explore the contextualisation, translation and articulation of the concept of sustainable urban development within the context of Borlänge.

I am an industrial PhD student from Högskolan Dalarna with a background as a practising architect.
