Mikaela Hellstrand

I'm a PhD student in challenges for data driven services in elder care, supervised by prof. Sebastiaan Meijer, associate prof. Jayhant Raghothama and lecturer Maksims Kornevs, at the division of Health Informatics and Logistics at KTH.

With a background in anthropology and sociology, my research draws on ethnographic methods to explore potential challenges and opportunities connected to the introduction of data driven services within different elder care contexts, with a particular focus on how this might affect the everyday care work and the quality of care as perceived by older adults and care professionals.
