About me
Mats Wilhelmsson is Professor in Applied Financial Economics at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) since 2008. Professor Wilhelmsson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Stockholm in Economics and his Ph.D. in Real Estate Economics from KTH in 2000. Professor Wilhelmsson is the former director of the Center for Banking and Finance (2008-2015) at KTH and vice head at the School of Architecture and Built Environment (2016-2021). His main research is in the field of housing, real estate and urban economics. Professor Wilhelmsson has published numerous articles in leading journals in the field. He is currently on the advisory board of several scholarly journals.
